Sam is a Partner at Blackbird Ventures, a technology venture capital fund with $2B million in funds under management. Sam founded and ran Blackbird New Zealand from 2020 til 2024, successfully raising $140M across two vintages. She now works across both Australia and New Zealand from her base in Sydney. Sam has broad investment interests including digital healthcare, robotics and IoT, and B2B software, including AI. She sits on the boards of Halter, Harrison AI, Partly and Vow. Prior to joining Blackbird, Sam was a founder, a product manager and a corporate lawyer.
